Stitch Studio DIY is a fiber arts crafting center for adults and youth ages 9+ focused in sewing, knitting, crochet and more.
Here we believe that the magic happens when we put down our phones and pick up hooks, needles, a sewing machine or whatever crafting tool is nearby to let our imagination take us to new places.
Stitch Studio DIY provides teens, tweens, and adults with a nurturing social and enriching environment (think: third space) to explore their creativity solo or in community with others.
Our Core Pillars:
Life-Skill Development: You can focus on learning and improving your craft all while developing tangible, practical life-skills. From the patience required to crochet a blanket to the technical focus to sew a garment, these are skills that last a lifetime.
Heads Up/Phones Down, A True Device-Free Zone: We actively promote creating your art without the interference or distraction of cell phones. We swap scrolling for stitching. The use of personal devices is NOT allowed inside the main studio space.
A Welcoming Community: Whether you’ve been in Miami for generations or are still finding your footing, you have a place at our crafting tables or comfy couches. This is a safe space.
